MultiTranslate AI ("we", "our", or "us"), a product of ZuTech Apps, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your information. By using MultiTranslate AI, you agree to this policy.

1. Introduction

MultiTranslate AI lets you translate text captured from the real world — street signs, menus, documents, product labels, and photos from your gallery — by extracting text from an image and translating it into your chosen language. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personally identifiable information (PII).

2. Information We Process

• Photos and image processing: Photos you capture or select are processed on your device to extract text (OCR), using your device's on-device text-recognition capability. Images themselves are never uploaded to our servers.
• Text sent for translation: Once text is extracted from a photo (or typed in manually), that text is sent to our backend, which forwards it to our configured translation provider (Google Cloud Translation) to produce a translation. The provider processes that text under its own applicable terms.
• Translation history and favorites: Stored locally on your device only, using standard on-device storage. We never receive or see this data. You can delete individual translations or clear all history at any time from the app's History and Settings screens.

3. Third-Party Services

MultiTranslate AI integrates the following services to support core features:

• Google Cloud Translation: Receives the extracted/typed text (never the image itself) solely to produce a translation.
• Google AdMob: A limited number of photo translations per day are included at no cost. Beyond that daily limit, you can watch a short rewarded video ad to unlock more, or make a one-time purchase to remove ads entirely. AdMob collects standard device advertising identifiers (such as Android AAID) and general device/usage signals to deliver and measure these ads, in compliance with Google policies. • Google Play Billing: The optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.

4. What We Don't Do

• We don't require sign-in or collect your name, email, or account information.
• We don't upload your photos to our servers — only the extracted text, for translation.
• We don't sell your information.
• We don't collect financial account numbers, health information, or government IDs.

5. Children's Privacy

MultiTranslate AI does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. The app is rated for general audiences and contains no content inappropriate for children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
